This is especially true in the transportation industry, where the safety of vehicles and their contents is of utmost importance. That's where vehicle access control systems come in. Gone are the days of traditional keys and manual locks. Vehicle access control systems utilize cutting-edge technology to provide a more efficient and secure way of managing vehicle access. These systems use a combination of electronic devices, such as key fobs, RFID cards, and biometric scanners, to grant or restrict access to vehicles. One of the main benefits of vehicle access control systems is the ability to track and monitor vehicle usage. With these systems, you can easily keep track of who is using which vehicle, when they are using it, and for how long. This not only helps with fleet management, but also allows for better accountability and security. Moreover, vehicle access control systems offer a higher level of security compared to traditional methods. With features like remote locking and unlocking, as well as real-time alerts for unauthorized access, these systems provide an added layer of protection for your vehicles. This is especially beneficial for businesses that rely on transportation for their operations, as it helps prevent theft and unauthorized use of company vehicles. In addition, vehicle access control systems can also improve overall efficiency. With the ability to remotely grant or restrict access, there is no need for physical keys to be handed out and collected. This saves time and eliminates the risk of lost or stolen keys. It also allows for easier management of multiple vehicles, as access can be granted or revoked with just a few clicks.

Securing Business and Residential property via video surveillance and other integrated security systems.
Theft and Vandalism - the scourge of industrial business Another surveillance niche is #IndustrialSurveillance Research and statistics show that the biggest problem faced by industrial businesses that can be effectively managed with video surveillance is theft and vandalism. A study conducted by Verkada, a leading provider of cloud-based video surveillance solutions, found that the use of video surveillance in manufacturing plants and factories led to a 25% reduction in theft. Another study conducted by ABB, a leading manufacturer of industrial automation and robotics, found that the use of video surveillance in industrial settings led to a 30% reduction in theft and vandalism. Some studies have shown that the average cost of theft and vandalism can be as high as 2% of annual revenue. The application of video surveillance won't completely eliminate this loss, but as above can reduce these losses by 25%-30% The value of video surveillance to an industrial business can be quantified. Calculate 2% of annual revenue, and then calculate 30% of that amount. Of course that's just one problem in the industrial business that can benefit from video surveillance. There are a number of other areas where video surveillance can make a contribution, such as; - Safety Hazards, - Equipment Monitoring, - Inventory Control, - Process Monitoring, - Employee Monitoring, - Data Analytics, - Compliance.
